Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said that his country “condemned the collective punishment policy” on Gaza. In a press conference with the Turkish foreign minister in Doha, Sheikh Mohammed, who is also Qatar’s Foreign Minister, said that only way to reach a peaceful solution in Gaza was to keep communication channels open. He added that Qatar would continue to co-ordinate with Turkey and regional partners to de-escalate the crisis.
