Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman accused Israel of deliberately undermining mediation efforts with its air strike in Doha. He told the UN Security Council that the attack against Hamas officials exposed Israel’s intent to derail peace efforts, and accused it of using force and fundamentalist ideology to reshape the region. “Bloodthirsty extremists have gone beyond any borders, any limitations … we are unable to predict what Israel can do,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
