On Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan, speaking at the Kamyab Jawan Convention 2021 in Islamabad, said that it was awful seeing the Chief Justice of Pakistan and a “convict” being invited to speak at the same forum. The premier made these remarks in the wake of a controversy about PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif’s address via a video link Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore which was disrupted when the live stream was suddenly thwarted.
