An economic affairs ministry official said that the German government would handle Poland’s request to re-export Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine with urgency. “I can only tell you: We will urgently work on taking a decision,” Sven Giegold told a defense conference in Berlin. He added that the defense ministry was in the lead on the matter.
