At a ceremony conducted at the Governor House on Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan officially inaugurated the distribution of the Naya Pakistan Sehat Card to the entire Punjabi people.
Each household would be able to receive medical treatment worth up to Rs 1 million per year under the universal health coverage programme.
The prime minister will also chair several sessions on administrative and political matters, law and order, and development projects during his day-long visit to the provincial capital.
