Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the restoration of the departmental cricket structure. The departmental cricket was banished in 2019 under the then patron-in-chief of PCB Imran Khan, leaving thousands of players and officials jobless. Speaking to the media, PCB chairman Najam Sethi said that the contracts of 192 domestic players had been restored while the association’s heads have also been informed and invited to the High Performance Center (HPC).
