At least 94 Palestinian children, including 24 from Gaza, were being held at a prison in northern Israel, Palestinian authorities said. Child prisoners are kept in isolation at Megiddo Prison, near Haifa, and are denied family visits, the Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority said in a joint statement with the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club. Many did not know Ramadan had begun until they were told by new inmates, it said.
