One volunteer from the Palestinian Red Crescent was killed and another was injured in north Gaza on Monday, a spokeswoman reported. Osama Tayeh was killed and Mohammad Abu Rukba was injured at 5.30 am while they were in Mr Tayeh’s home. “They are among at least 15 volunteers who had refused to move with their families to the south, in order to be able to provide medical assistance to the people in the north,” an official stated.
