ISPR chief Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed on Friday that 12 soldiers were martyred and 27 wounded, while one soldier was missing in action after the border clashes between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban regime. Chaudhry said that the Afghan Taliban regime opened fire on 53 localities in 15 sectors of the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. He detailed that the Pakistani military also destroyed Afghanistan’s 115 tanks and armoured personnel carriers (APCs).
