General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Chief of Army Staff, praised Bill Gates, the Co-Chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, for his efforts to eradicate polio in Pakistan, and promised him continued collaboration.

In a telephone call, COAS and Gates reviewed Pakistan’s commitment to comprehensive polio eradication as well as COVID-19.

The renowned benefactor also praised the Pakistan Army for its support of the national polio campaign, which ensured that it reached and covered the whole country.
