Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully thwarted Indian aerial aggression in what American media outlets, including CNN, have described as the longest dogfight between the two nations in history. According to CNN, the intense aerial battle saw 125 fighter jets from both sides engaged in a direct combat lasting over an hour. Despite the high-stakes encounter, both air forces remained within their respective airspaces. US media reported that Pakistani forces shot down five Indian fighter jets, citing Pakistani officials. Some of the aircraft were reportedly targeted and destroyed from a distance of up to 160 kilometers using precision missile systems.
