Only two doctors and a handful of nurses remain at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, medical sources have told the official Wafa news agency, after Israeli forces detained almost all of the medical centre’s staff. Several wounded patients have died at the hospital in Beit Lahia, due to a lack of medical staff, and injured and sick patients are forced to arrive on foot after Israeli air strikes destroyed the last ambulances in the area.
