London: On Dec 22, it was reported that almost 129 people were in the hospital with the Omicron variant of the coronavirus and 14 people died so far. Junior health minister Gillian Keegan said the UK government would not balk to bring in additional COVID-19 restrictions if the data ascertained it was necessary.
