A senior Omani government official told the UN’s top court that Israel’s war in Gaza was “one of the worst atrocities and acts of genocide in modern times.” The death toll in the enclave rose on Friday to 29,514 dead and 69,616 injured. “For more than 75 years, Palestinians have been living under occupation, oppression, injustice, and daily humiliation committed against them by Israelis,” said Oman’s ambassador to The Netherlands Abdullah bin Salim bin Hamad Al Harthi.
