Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is visiting Iran to discuss regional security, stability and other developments, the Foreign Office said on Wednesday, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to “offset spoilers” of US-Iran talks. Naqvi held separate meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and other key officials during his visit, with sources saying he conveyed a special message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir to the Iranian president.
