A date has been set for the indictment of the accused in the Noor Muqaddam murder case by a local court in Islamabad, Pakistan’s federal capital.
Zahir Jaffer, the primary accused in the Noor murder case, faced the court for the first time today. The accused spoke in Urdu, and the court took his words into account.
The accused claimed that he wished to apologize for what he had done, to which the court answered that they had heard and that he should consult with his lawyer. The accused also claimed that he wanted to be added to the roster, to which the judge answered while speaking with him that he is not required at this time and that they will hear him in court, following which the judge ordered the accused to be taken back to Bakhshi.
