The trial court has been ordered by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to conclude the trial procedures within two months. The accused will be served with official charge sheets on October 14, according to Additional Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani. Six accused, including Zahir Jaffer, the primary accused from Adiala Jail, will be brought in court, as will six Therapy Works employees who are presently out on bail.
The police had submitted Noor Muqaddam’s and Zahir Jaffer’s cellphones and computers to the FIA for forensic investigation, and the report was still pending. The accused were given copies of the challan on September 23 and again on October 6.
