Hamas said it had not been informed of any progress in ceasefire talks, accusing Israel of procrastinating to obstruct an agreement. “We have not yet been informed by the mediator brothers of anything new regarding the negotiations aimed at a ceasefire and prisoner exchange,” the group said in a statement. “The occupation continues its policy of procrastination to buy time with the aim of thwarting this round of negotiations, as it did in previous rounds, and this does not deceive our people and their resistance,” it added.
