New Jersey governor says agent who shot Pretti should be prosecuted

Mikie Sherrill, the governor of New Jersey, has taken to cable news to slam the Trump administration’s policies and call for legal action against the Border Patrol agent responsible for the fatal shooting in Minneapolis yesterday. “This is about a basically Stasi-type force of secret police that wear masks, that are unidentifiable, that are unaccountable, that have leadership in the Trump administration blatantly lying about what’s going on, when the American people can see the videos about exactly what’s happening,” Sherrill said. The Stasi was the secret police of East Germany.
