On Nov 9, it is reported that the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Tuesday has approved an increase of Rs2.52 per unit in the power tax for electricity consumers of ex-Wapda distribution companies (Discos). The cost was increased on the account of the fuel cost adjustment for September. “Disco shall reflect the fuel charges adjustment in respect of September 2021 in the billing month of November 2021,” said the notification.
