Islamabad: On Thursday, the World Bank described natural disasters including floods caused by climate change as a major threat to Pakistan’s economy. World Bank’s Country Climate Development Report also expressed the fear of affecting poverty reduction and economic development efforts. The World Bank also revealed the possibility of affecting Pakistan’s economic growth by 15 to 20 percent by the year 2050.
