Tyre’s municipal workers are struggling to bring back services to the devastated city in southern Lebanon. The city’s main water pumping station, supplying around 30,000 people to Tyre and its suburbs, was destroyed two weeks ago in an Israeli attack. Tareq Barakat, the administrative manager of the water pumping station, said it would take 3-6 months for the station to return to normal services.
