More than 27,000 people have now been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since the war began, the Palestinian enclave’s health ministry said on Thursday. This grim toll was reached after Israeli air strikes killed 119 people in 24 hours, said the ministry. Almost 200 people were injured by Israeli bombardments in that period.
