The Israeli military said it killed more than 20 people at the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s Al Amal Hospital in Khan Younis. A Red Crescent volunteer and a displaced civilian were shot and killed at the medical complex on Monday, when Israeli forces began besieging the complex and the nearby Nasser Hospital. Israeli said more than 20 militants were killed “aerially or in close-quarters combat”, and claimed to have found rocket-propelled grenades and explosives at the site.
