On Thursday, it emerged that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would meet Pope Francis in Rome this weekend when he visits for the G20 summit. Officials speculate that the meeting would be a ‘thorny encounter’ due to the oppression on Christians. Earlier this month, a Hindu mob attacked a church gathering due to the so-called ‘suspicious gathering’.
