Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep concern over violence and loss of civilian lives in Gaza with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, India’s Foreign Ministry said. In a phone call, the leaders exchanged views on the situation in the West Asia region and the Israel-Gaza conflict. “He [Mr Modi] reiterated India’s longstanding and consistent position on the Israel-Palestine issue,” the ministry said.
