A high-level meeting was held under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. The Punjab Government removed several police officers for negligence in the Minar-e-Pakistan incident. SSP Operations Nadeem Abbas and additional SP Operations Hassan Jahangir were ordered to report to the Central Police Office. Meanwhile, DSP Badami Bagh and SHO Lari Ada Muhammad Jamil have been suspended.
