Rome: On Aug 25, nationalist leader Giorgia Meloni stated that Italy would look to limit China’s economic expansion and continue to support Ukraine militarily if a rightist alliance wins next month’s election. “The next government would have to face a rapidly changing international landscape, with both Russia and China challenging the West,” Meloni said. she also added that under her leadership, Italy would not be “the weak link” in the Western alliance.
