On Wednesday, Irfan Qadir, the lawyer for PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz proclaimed to the IHC that the legal procedure was not followed in the Avenfield apartments reference. It was not based on any evidence and observed myriad mistakes being made at the pre-trial phase. He also asserted that Maryam Nawaz has submitted simple and clear-cut facts to prove her claim of ‘wrongly convicted’.
