Lindsey Graham tells Israel to be cautious about targets

US Republican senator Lindsey Graham has called on Israel to be “cautious” about what it attacks in Iran, after strikes on oil facilities at the weekend. A staunch supporter of Israel and an ally of US President Donald Trump, his criticism stands out. “Our allies in Israel have shown amazing capability when it comes to collapsing the murderous regime in Iran,” Mr Graham wrote on X. “America is most appreciative. However, there will be a day soon that the Iranian people will be in charge of their own fate, not the murderous ayatollah’s regime,” he added.
