A large explosion was reported in southern Israel on Wednesday, Israel’s Kann news said. Social media footage shot on a road near the Israeli town of Kiryat Gat, 66km south of Tel Aviv, shows a plume of smoke rising into the air. The cause of the blast is unknown. The town is home to an industrial area and a military training facility.
