Moscow: On Jan 25, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia was watching with great concern after the United States put 8,500 troops on alert in case of any escalation in the Ukraine crisis. He accused Washington of fuelling conflicts over Ukraine. “The crisis is being driven by U.S. and NATO actions rather than by its build-up of tens of thousands of troops near the Ukrainian border,” he added.
