Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has fired a warning shot across the coalition government’s bows, threatening to “sweep everyone away through a sea of people” if a date for new elections is not set.

The intensified tone comes as the former ruling party continues to raise the stakes against the current dispensation, which is trying to force snap elections from Khan through the ‘Azadi March,’ a coalition of major political groups that ousted him from power last month through a vote of no confidence.
