KFC, the quick restaurant chain, apologized on Monday after an outcry on social media over a post from its Pakistan-based branch supporting separatists in Kashmir.

After experiencing outrage after an Instagram post on Kashmir by its official handle in Pakistan, another QSR brand, Pizza Hut, issued a statement claiming it “does not condone, support, or agree with the contents of a post circulating in social media.”

Yum! Brands, which also owns the popular fast-food chain Taco Bell, owns both KFC and Pizza Hut.
