After three days of closure due to landslides, Gilgit-Baltistan’s Karakoram Highway was cleared of debris. Countless tourists stranded in Gilgit Baltistan can now depart for their homes as remains of landslides have been removed. Local police in its statement said that detritus has been removed with the help of heavy machinery despite difficulty due to landslides.
