At least 26 Palestinians were killed as the Israeli military intensified air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Monday, the Wafa news agency reported. Medical sources said eight people were killed when Israeli jets struck the house of the Kawarea family in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza. Two were killed in a separate attack on Al Shafie camp to the west of the city. In northern Gaza, at least 10 were killed in a a strike on a house west of Jabalia camp. Another six were killed in an attack on a house west of Beit Lahia.
