Israeli soldiers have been ordered to burn down Gaza homes “until they are rendered useless”, according to a report by Haaretz newspaper. Several hundred homes had been incinerated in the past month, it added. Three army officers leading Israel’s offensive on Gaza said burning homes occupied by the military has become “common practice”, it said.
