An Israeli soldier was killed in Thursday’s Hezbollah explosive-laden drone attack near the northern community of Kibbutz Kabri, the army said. The soldier is named as Sgt. First Class (res.) Valeri Chefonov, 33, of the 228th “Alon” Brigade, from Netanya. In the attack, Hezbollah launched several drones from Lebanon at the Western Galilee. The group claimed to have targeted an Israeli army position.
