One Lebanese civilian, Hassan Tawil, was killed during an Israeli artillery shelling on Kfar Kila, a Hezbollah official stated. This brings the total number of civilians killed in Lebanon since the border conflict began to 23, including three journalists. More than 140 Hezbollah fighters have been killed. Israel said that 14 Israelis have been killed, including nine soldiers.
