An Israeli artillery shell struck the maternity ward of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, killing at least one and wounding five. Ashraf Al Qudra, the spokesman of Gaza’s Health Ministry, said that “the occupation targeted Nasser Medical Complex with an artillery shell, if it exploded, it would cause a massacre”. The Health Ministry in Gaza also said Israeli forces had stormed Al Awda hospital in northern Gaza overnight and detained medical staff following several days of siege and bombing.
