Hundreds of protesters briefly blocked the main motorway in Tel Aviv, calling on the government to secure the immediate release of more than 100 hostages held captive in the Gaza Strip. Police cleared the protesters from the Ayalon Highway before the crowd gathered outside the nearby headquarters of the Israeli military and Defence Ministry.
