The head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council in northern Israel, a regular target of Hezbollah attacks, has demanded tougher action and better protection from the Lebanese armed group. Giora Zaltz was quoted as saying by the Israeli news site N12 that “time is working against us” in the north. “Every day that passes without the Israeli government setting goals and working for the security of the residents of the Galilee causes damage that can be irreversible,” he said.
