The Israeli military said in a post on X in the early hours of Friday that the remains of another hostage had been received for transfer to Israel. “Hamas is required to uphold the agreement and take the necessary steps to return all the hostages,” the military said in a previous post saying that the body had been received by the Red Cross. Hamas has said it has handed over the remains of all hostages it is able to access without heavy equipment not currently available in Gaza.
