Israel confirmed another soldier has been killed in central Gaza, raising the death toll since its ground invasion of Gaza to 183 Israeli soldiers and 1,065 wounded. The army identified the latest soldier killed as a 24-year-old major and combat medic. A second Israeli soldier was seriously injured in the same battle.
