An elderly woman held hostage in Gaza was discharged from hospital this week, Israeli media has reported, six months after she was released as part of a temporary ceasefire deal in November. Alma Avraham, 84, was filmed being taken into Gaza on a motorcycle from her home in kibbutz Nahal Oz. Speaking to the media following her release, she said the remaining hostages “need to be released now. They need to be released now”.
