The Israeli government approved a swap between its Foreign and Energy Ministers as part of an agreement made during coalition talks in December. Eli Cohen will now serve as Energy Minister, replacing Israel Katz who will head the Foreign Ministry, subject to approval from the Knesset. The move was confirmed by the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday.
