Israeli Foreign Ministry official says Hamas is only obstacle to release of hostages

Israel is fully committed to reaching an agreement for the return of hostages from Gaza, but is being obstructed by Hamas, a senior Israeli Foreign Ministry official said on Tuesday. “Hamas is the only obstacle to the release of the hostages,” ministry director general Eden Bar Tal told reporters.
