A volunteer for the Palestine Red Crescent was shot and killed by Israeli forces on Sunday morning, the organization has confirmed. Ameer Sobhi Abu Ayesha, a member of the PRCS emergency operations room, was killed by Israeli gunfire while working at the organization’s Al Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, it said on X. The hospital, adjacent to the Red Crescent’s Gaza headquarters, was raided by Israeli forces in January and besieged for two weeks.
