The Israeli army on Wednesday destroyed the home of a Palestinian detainee, the Wafa news agency has reported. Soldiers planted explosives in the home of Basel Shehadeh over the course of several hours before detonating in the village of Urif, south of Nablus. Mr Shehadeh has been detained by Israel since June 21 of last year, the agency reported. It gave no reason for his arrest.
