Israeli forces opened fire on residents attempting to return to their homes in southern Lebanon, injuring at least five, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported on Sunday. The incident in the village of Kfar Kila comes as Israeli forces were expected to withdraw from southern Lebanon as part of a ceasefire deal. Earlier, the Israeli army issued orders for thousands of displaced Lebanese not to return to villages near the border until further notice.
